The install selector could be easily configured with buttons like "Download minimal", "Download standard CD set", "Download standard DVD", etc. Seems pretty simple to me. Better than the newbs asking "Where can I get a DVD image?", "Why do I need to download 4 CDs just to get a minimal server install because the packages are strewn over all four CDs?", "Do I need to get the sources?", etc..., which have all been asked on this list or others over time. But yes, I am just brainstorming, and this is just food for thought. -- Ben Steeves _ bcs@xxxxxxxxxx The ASCII ribbon campaign ( ) ben.steeves@xxxxxx against HTML e-mail X GPG ID: 0xB3EBF1D9 http://www.metacon.ca/ascii / \ Yahoo Messenger: ben_steeves
