Yes, i'm aware of that link, and the arguments for both styles. However, in my experience, convention on a mailing list has always been bottom posting.
It's just like the "Don't send HTML email cause Im still stuck in the 80's and use pine/mutt"
I use thunderbird for personal accounts and Lotus Notes for work, but I still think HTML email is evil.
