Ok thank you, Here are the answers: The script I got was: Magic News Lite v1.0.3 I got it from: http://reamdaysoft.com/products.html I didn't take other steps since I had no clue what caused this * which user you gave it? I don't really get this one I have set all the permissions using CHMOD I have made no changes what so ever to the config and worst of all it doesn't show an error and I cant find the error in the http log. The only thing it shows is: [Sun Mar 14 04:02:37 2004] [notice] Digest: generating secret for digest authentication ... [Sun Mar 14 04:02:37 2004] [notice] Digest: done [Sun Mar 14 04:02:37 2004] [notice] LDAP: Built with OpenLDAP LDAP SDK [Sun Mar 14 04:02:37 2004] [notice] LDAP: SSL support unavailable [Sun Mar 14 04:02:39 2004] [notice] Apache/2.0.47 (Fedora) configured -- resuming normal operations Btw you can see the not working script at: http://lmv-clan.nl/news -----Oorspronkelijk bericht----- Van: fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:fedora-list-bounces@xxxxxxxxxx] Namens Rodolfo J. But I *can* suggest to you that no one else is likely to be able to help you either unless you provide some information, any information at all, about: * which script you downloaded * where to find that script * what other steps you took * which user you gave it * whether the file/dir permissions are properly set * if you've made any changes to your config (if so, what) * any errors reported on the page or in any logfile You have provided NOTHING with which to help you, and no one is a mindreader. All we have is "my script doesn't work, I'm stuck." Well... my car's air conditioning is broken, can you tell me what's wrong with it? Good luck, -- Rodolfo J.
