I'm using an Orinoco Silver PCMCIA card at this moment with Fedora-1,
and it works perfectly with the standard orinoco_cs driver.
So in principle your card should work.

What does "cardctl ident" say?
It should tell you what the machine thinks the card is.

Also, does lsmod list orinoco_cs as one of the modules loaded?
If not you could try saying "modprobe orinoco_cs".

Also what do "ifconfig eth0" and "iwconfig eth0" say?

Finally, you could see what cardmgr entries there are in /var/log/messages
"grep cardmgr /var/log/messages".
