Actually, I think the comments at the top of /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources are quite difficult to decipher, and must be near impossible for the newbie. Eg the term "channel" is used without any explanation of what it means. And what would a newbie (or many oldies) make of this: ==================================================== ### When a channel-label is required for the non up2date repo's, ### the label is soley used as an internal identifier and is not ### based on the url or any other info from the repo. ==================================================== -- Timothy Murphy e-mail (<80k only): tim /at/ birdsnest.maths.tcd.ie tel: +353-86-2336090, +353-1-2842366 s-mail: School of Mathematics, Trinity College, Dublin 2, Ireland
