Hi,

I just upgraded a machine from RedHat 9 to Fedora Core 1, but now it doesn't appear the Fedora boot screen (GUI). It just appears the normal linux loading. How can I put the Fedora Core boot screen?

I have another machine where I installed Fedora Core from the ground up, and it apears normally!

Thanks,

Answered here several times before:

1) install package rhgb
2) add to the kernel line in /etc/grub.conf at the end rhgb so it looks
like:

kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.22-1.2174.nptl ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb
