Attempting to boot to single user mode results in the same problem. It gets to grub, if I hit enter it will attempt to load the kernel and I'll get like the first 4 lines (where it says where it's looking for the kernal and what the kernal name is) and then dies... by die I mean it just does a soft reboot... almost like the system can't find the kernel... system boots fine in the system I installed it in. I've many times transplanted linux hard disks, so not sure why this isn't moving.
