I am trying to get Fedora to run headless, no keyboard or video card. The
only access is via Ethernet and a Serial line - RS-232.
Can anyone offer the method to display all the boot/initialization stuff out
the serial port, then allow me to logon as root?
By the way, a problem solved - GRUB will hang if you remove the video card.
I found commenting out the splash screen line in grub.conf solved that
problem.
I run my server Sort-of headless too..
I boot up the server with an attached keyboard/mouse/monitor
then once everything's up and dandy, I remove all of it and it just runs as is. Is that an option??
Remote admin via ssh and webmin.
