Thats weird that its looking for or trying to load a sound? Have you
tried using your usbstick with windows to see what happens? Im guessing
but maybe its trying to play through the sound card a beep etc. to let
you know it's loaded. My usbstick flashes a light when it loads. That
would explain why its slow. It's searching for whats not there? I have a
cheap Comp U.S.A. 16MB flash drive (usbstick) it works fine. TRy another
usbstick (flash drive). My setup also lets me mount a ZiO! card reader
for smart media disks.
