I have the exact same motherboard, you might have a bit of trouble with the sound and ethernet but installation should be okay. I think its your radeon, switch to the generic vesa drivers, the ones for my Radeon 9600 kill X and caused me some installation trouble too.

Might not help but if nobody smarter has a quick reply try it.
