And how did you install FC1 ?
My config : LSI megaraid SATA150-4 , 2x 160 MAXTOR SATA in raid1, 1x 120 Go MAXTOR in raid0
History:
Install FC1 as normal way -> device detected & megaraid driver loaded
but unrecoverable error detected during the install process.
Install FC1 on IDE drive as usual -> Ok, load megaraid.o -> Ok, but unrec error during mkfs.ext3 ...,
reboot and then the raid1 array is broken :-\
Rebuild raid1 array, boot on ide drive, load megaraid2.o -> OK, mkfs->OK,
but unrec error during large file copy,reboot and then the raid1 array is broken :-\
Rebuild raid1 array, boot on ide drive, rebuild kernel modules with TIMEOUT set to 90 Hz in sd.c ( as wanted by LSI ),
manually load sd_mod & megaraid2 -> test with large copy -> OK :-)
This seems to be correct now.
But the problem : How do i install FC1 considering the need of the modified sd.c ???
