I forgot to mention that I am using KDE, sorry about that.

No, I don't want to remove Autorun, I just want to be able to temporarily 
by-pass it, like when I insert a CD-RW that has some files on it, and I'm 
going to record over it with K3b, I have to wait for Konqueror to load and 
display the contents of the CD, then close Konqueror, then unmount the CD, 
then go on about my business in K3b.
