Ummmm...you don't seem to be replying to any particular thread...are you aking 
what I did in the message "Re: BitTorrent rpm"?

If so, in the future, please hit the "reply to all" button in your email 
client, to preserve the threading for the rest of us.

I simply went to http://torrent.dulug.duke.edu/
then clicked the link to "local rpms for rhl 7.3, 8.0, 9 and fc1"
from that page, I clicked "bittorrent-3.3-0.fdr.2.fc1.noarch.rpm"  
That downloaded the rpm to my directory of choice.
Then, I opened a shell, cd'd to the directory where I saved the rpm, and typed 
'rpm -ivh bittorrent'
That installed bittorrent.

Then after all the frustration I discussed earlier, I simply backed up a page 
in my browser, and followed the instructions verbatim.

I put my computer outside my firewall just long enough to download the files, 
then hurried back inside the security blanket.  :-)
