Craig,

I am assuming that you want to continue using the default session
manager with Fedora, GDM? I have recently accomplished this for
several workstations of mine, but acquired the information from
several sources. The most complete I found was here:

http://www.fedorachat.org/viewtopic.php?t=7

Be aware that the directions given above didn't quite work for me. I
had to make some modifications, which unfortunately I haven't had the
time to document. If you help on this, please contact me off-list and
I will send you a reply with a copy of each of the scripts and configs
modified to make it work. There was also an issue in getting GDM to
accept XFce as a default. 'switchdesk' still only lists GDM, KDE and
TWM as the only legitimate choices even though GDM has accepted XFce
as the default DE/WM. Weird.

Paul
