I hope that Linux Well, XP does support a HDD of this size. The only reason i can think why XP is only supporting 80GB of that drive are because you are formatting it with Fat32. NTFS supports up to 16TB.
Or it could be a limitation the motherboard's and/or it's BIOS. The manufacture of the motherboard may have a BIOS update this.
