Try ctrl-alt-minus. That should put you into a lower resolution. This
use to work. There's a way to use vesa driver, I don't remember how.


It didn't work for me. Until I thought of using OPenSSH to get to a remote command line, I couldn't get into the machine. I had to hard reboot with the reset switch and then the problems would just start over.
