I do not know if linuxconf was missing before I started the upgrade or not. My belief is that linuxconf was present and somehow got deleted during the upgrade. Linuxconf died a long and horrible death many years ago. There are better ways to do things. Linuxconf was borked in MANY MANY ways. > Is there a way to recover from this problem without going to the backup's, or preferably is there a way to continue the Fedora upgrade. You do not want to reinstall it. It WILL bork your system. Make sure you have good backups and run the upgrade again. It _should_ get any packages it missed the first time. HTH, Tom
