If we're talking about the home user or the corporate desktop then you will need to use MS Office and all the other related commercial apps & utilities. Very few home users will be willing to go d/l OpenOffice and Mozilla and the dozens of other things they'd need and corporations aren't going to run anything that they would have to manage/maintain themselves. The fact of the matter is that RHEL is a tremendous hit with large businesses (and a great majority of small-to-mid sized ones, too). It's just what they want and expect from an OS plus they get much more than if they go with MS or, say, Solaris. -- Akebono vs Godzilla! Coming soon to a theater near you.
