Yes, I knew, sorry, I was thinking of the best list I was subscribed to
to ask this and part of the question in fact also applies to Fedora
(how to make a driver disk for Fedora?).

The issue is that you need a driver compiled with the exact BOOT
kernel of RHL 9, AFAIK, so I assumed this won't work.

I've now solved it by adding some legacy network card for install only
(after installing - with updates merged - it will recognize the newer
Intel cards anyway).  But a driver disk howto would be useful anyway,
also for Fedora ;).
