Question... do you have a Mozilla or Netscape profile in your account?
Sometimes glitches can get in to profiles when going from version to
version, and you'd be best to make a new profile and see if all is fine. (Or
wipe out the profile folder in your home directory.) A quick test is to make
a new user on your machine. Launch Mozilla. If all works well then it is a
problem with your account / profile rather than your system or Mozilla.
