The apache-user isn't thought as a normal user, he's just for the running
process and should have as less permissions as possible. if you want to
access the files in your document-root with an normal user, create a new
one or add an existing user to the apache-group and make the doc-root
rwx-able for the group, this way is a little bit more secure.
