Thanks, To list the contents of an uninstalled package: rpm -qlp packagename.rpm To get a description of an uninstalled package: rpm -qip packagename.rpm Try posting the output from 'lspci |grep -i audio'. To load the alsa drivers, I got the .src.rpm 's from http://yarrow.freshrpms.net, and rebuilt them for my kernel, then installed the drivers, and ran alsaconf to setup the soundcard. I can send you details off-list if you want. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFAJWlML6ubqSVs8LERAorZAJ91BUo7aneLEbXN2FEsXL9E6BB5SwCfWKdV HF6OOzg6wyr7/sDPBOSzlyY= =m+TL -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
