Does anyone know how to install grub on a usb device? I tried to copy vmlinuz, initrd.img on /boot parition on usb device. Then i created grub.conf and all the rest, and ran grub-install /dev/sd?? (don't remember numbers now). Of course it didn't work. :( I need to make that usb accessibile device bootable: it's a box that holds my laptop hdd. Any hint? E.
