I'm new at yum/apt, but there is something I have noticed that might bear mentioning here. When adding repositories to your list, be aware that you may need a gpg key from one or more of them. I found this out the hard way - apt couldn't install the packages I downloaded because they were signed with an unknown key. Therefore, the more sites in the list, the more keys you have to search around for and rpm --import key. If there's an automatic way to get the keys and import them, I'd be interested to know about it. - -- Charles Howse Jackson, TN -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAIXMU/S+VsB9RMKgRAmyWAJ45ieEavkdPGyRhGBg6WCRaHe3S6QCcChlM NI81Q++1uvnckqhSvBOdSmM= =A9Z3 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
