It's called Bochs and it's not exactly an "alternative" to wine. Bochs 
is a full fledged x86 emulator and can run any number of operating systems 
inside it, even on non-x86 platforms. Mind you it's going to be SLOW and 
you'll need to install full Windows to do anything with it, unlike wine.
