When I insert my USB key (i-Bead 100 256Mo MP3 player) in my system, I get:

Feb 4 01:22:47 orient kernel: hub.c: new USB device 00:07.2-2.3, assigned address 7
Feb 4 01:22:50 orient usb.agent[12123]: missing kernel or user mode driver usb-storage
Feb 4 01:22:50 orient kernel: SCSI device sda: 505856 512-byte hdwr sectors (259 MB)
Feb 4 01:22:50 orient kernel: sda: Write Protect is off
Feb  4 01:22:50 orient kernel:  sda: sda1
Feb  4 01:22:51 orient kernel: usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 2, frame# 686
Feb 4 01:22:53 orient devlabel: devlabel service started/restarted

in /var/log/messages and all is weel (I can mount /dev/sda1 without any problems).
When I unlug the key, I get this bucketload of error messages:

Is this normal? Is there a command I should run before unplugging the key?
Could this be related to something I've noticed on the key:

[root@orient root]# LANG=C fdisk -l /dev/sda

Disk /dev/sda: 258 MB, 258998272 bytes
16 heads, 32 sectors/track, 988 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 512 * 512 = 262144 bytes

   Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/sda1   *         1       988    252903+   6  FAT16
Partition 1 has different physical/logical endings:
     phys=(999, 15, 32) logical=(987, 15, 32)
