Any reason to switch from Grub to Lilo??
I expect there were several. I'd switched before Fedora for various reasons such as lilo refusing to load larger kernels, easier one-time modification and repair of kernel flags and boot parameters, and no more accidently forgetting to run /sbin/lilo after making modifications...
