FWIW:One solution is to wait until tomorow, when the binaries for KDE 3.2 will be released and then upgrade to KDE 3.2, which contains KWallet, that will provide passwords to KDE applications, so you'll only have to introduce one password, when it opens KWallet :)
In my experience (both with Fedora and RH9) when I check the "save password" box when connecting to various ftp sites, my passwords are stored only until I log out, then I have to enter them again. I don't know of a way to "permanently" save them, and I'm not sure it would be a good idea...

Dear all,
I've upgrated RedHat 9 up Fedora Core 1 and I've noticed that when I browse samba shares using konqueror I always need input my user name and password. There is a possibility to store samba passwords in the konqueror in RedHat 9 (just check box on password promt form). Can anybody tell me, how can I store samba passwods in the Fedore konqueror?
Thanks in advanced.
