Fedora offers several email clients. You can use Evolution (My Favourite), Kmail, Sylpheed or balsa. They all can connect to several email accounts. In order to be able to fetch email from Hotmail you have to use the package Hotwayd (http://hotwayd.sourceforge.net/).
I personally prefer mozilla -mail (hopefully soon to be thunderbird and a little more separate from the browser.
Evolution's outlook-like attempt to integrate calendaring into email bugs me and confuses my users (since we have a separate enterprise calendaring tool).
