Exactly right. Its actually very intuitive, which suprised me, and seems to work just as well as manually mounting.

I was thinking the same thing, that it was an invalid block device because PCMCIA modules weren't loaded. I thought there might be a deffered auto mount option, but I've since decided to use the automount daemon. Thanks for the reply though.

Hmm... automount.. Heard lots about it... but never ventured there..

So.. How does it go??

An entry into auto.misc or something like that?
