Is lm_sensors reporting (via textual output) that something is over threshhold, is is your PC now emitting an audible alarm? I believe that if you have threshholds set in the BIOS (eg. temp >70 Celsius) that lm_sensors can alert you to these threshholds being exceeded. Have not tried this myself though. Cheers, Ben
