If you can list directories but not read files, it could be that the burn wasn't entirely completed and failed. Or just that the media isn't very good. For example, of a dozen DVDs I record half a year ago, a few are only readable in the recorder, and fail with errors in most dvd readers. Have your friend record another copy, at reduced speed if possible, and try again. Regards, Luciano Rocha
