Hi, I started witnessing this problem sometime ago after upgrading to Fedora Core 1. If USB module is loaded, then system hangs up after some time of usage(mostly I am playing music that time when it happens). Mother board is Gigabyte 7DXR with Athlon Barton 2500+( I know it is not supported but I had to take it out of my second PC ASUS 7n8x-deluxe for some time). RHL9 used to work without such problem. -------------------------------------------------------- CPUinfo ----------- processor : 0 vendor_id : AuthenticAMD cpu family : 6 model : 10 model name : Unknow CPU Type stepping : 0 cpu MHz : 1466.776 cache size : 512 KB fdiv_bug : no hlt_bug : no f00f_bug : no coma_bug : no fpu : yes fpu_exception : yes cpuid level : 1 wp : yes flags : fpu vme de pse tsc msr pae mce cx8 sep mtrr pge mca cmov pat pse36 mmx fxsr sse syscall mmxext 3dnowext 3dnow bogomips : 2929.45 lspci ------ 00:00.0 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-760 [IGD4-1P] System Controller (rev 13) 00:01.0 PCI bridge: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] AMD-760 [IGD4-1P] AGP Bridge 00:07.0 ISA bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. Then my system did not hang. But today I loaded the USB module for using my Kodak digital camera, and system hung after sometime. No mouse/keyboard activity. Thanks in advance. VJ
