Cheers but this isn't the problem, I'm not doing a redirect, the file is actually missing hence the 404 from the web server side.  The fact that the file is missing is my fault but the error message that reveals no useful information ( in fact leads one in the wrong direction entirely ) was my concern.

A good question would now be how does one submit a bug report for Fedora?
