I had tones of problems and then I really set my mind to fingure it out.  In 
the end it was really easy.


go to /usr/lib/flash-plugin
then copy libflashplayer.so and flashplayer.xpt to your Mozilla plugins 
directory.

Of course if those files aren't in that directory, do a find for them and then 
place them in the plugin directory.  I Installed Mozilla 1.6 and then 
Firebird.  For Firebird support, also copy these files into the plugin 
directory where firebird is installed.

Now...close the browser if open, restart.  Then in the URL page type:
about:plugins

Should show right up.  Works great.  Hope it helps.
