Well... let's see. You can do it manually using mii-tool: % mii-tool -F 100baseTx-FD eth0

You can also generally set options to the network module in /etc/modules.conf, typically they support things like:
fullduplex=0 : force half duplex
fullduplex=1 : force full duplex
fullduplex=2 : autonegotioate
speed100=0 : force 10Mbps
speed100=1 : force 100Mbps
autoneg=0 : don't autonegotiate
