Well, I don't know if I'm using full DRI; I don't know how to go about
testing 3D at the moment. Here is the "dri" section from XF86Config-4:

I don't know if this will help or not; how are you testing your DRI
functions?

I have used
glxinfo |grep rendering
If it comes back with
direct rendering: Yes
then it is working as expected.
