I'm not sure what to do at this point. The first thing to do is to remove all traces of Ximian RPMs from your system ("rpm -qa | grep -i ximian") will get you a list. To handle the dependency issues, make a note of any packages that require the Ximian RPMs (e.g., when package A-Ximian says it needs package B-Ximian) -- remove all the Ximian packages (ignoring the dependencies that would prevent removal, "rpm -e --nodeps {package name}", then replace the required packages with the "clean" (i.e., distribution supplied) packages. Once that's done, you can safely upgrade to FC1. I had to do this when upgrading from RH8. It should be fairly painless if you're careful to replace all necessary packages. -- Ben Steeves _ bcs@xxxxxxxxxx The ASCII ribbon campaign ( ) ben.steeves@xxxxxx against HTML e-mail X GPG ID: 0xB3EBF1D9 http://www.metacon.ca/ascii / \ Yahoo Messenger: ben_steeves
