i'm new to fedora and this list, although i've been using redhat linux since version 4.2. i skipped rh 9, but now am starting to work with fedora due to a customer requirement. i've installed fedora core 1 on an x86 desktop, and it's been pretty decent so far; the install is better than it was on rh8.0, although it'd be good to see a few more improvements. postgresql came right up (one of the customer requirements is a reasonably current postgres.) i've not yet installed java 1.4.2 so the jury is still out on that. however, i'm a little stumped by the update process. up2date is crashing in python, and not updating anything. when i fetched the glib rpms and tried rpm -Fvh, i got a complaint about the public keys. i can't find anything in the release notes about how to update the keys. can anyone point me in the right direction, or at the right document? thanks, richard -- Richard Welty rwelty@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Averill Park Networking 518-573-7592 Java, PHP, PostgreSQL, Unix, Linux, IP Network Engineering, Security
