Hello,

I upgraded my system, a Dell Dimension 233 MHz, from RH9 to FC1 and after
the first
reboot got the following kernel dump:

Never had that with RH9 and before. This dump of the transmit error repeats
itself every
few seconds. I tried several different combinations of LAN cards with 3Com,
Intel and
realtec for eth0 and eth1 also on different PCI slots everytime.

3Com/3Com gives this failure as wel 3Com/Intel Pro. Only the combo
3Com/RealTec did
not cause this and now runs fine.

Why can't i use 2 3Com cards anymore or a 3Com card with a Intel Pro 100
card???????

What causes these messages? Faulty drivers maybe? This was immediatelly
after the
upgrade from CDROM but before running up2date on the new Fedora server.

Thanks,
