(I guess you mean /lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2149.nptl/modules.pcimap.)

Sorry. I didn't say that ;) .

But what about:

$ grep PCMPC /etc/pcmcia/*
/etc/pcmcia/config:  version "Linksys", "EtherFast 10/100 PC Card
(PCMPC100)"
? What is that file meant to do? Shouldn't such an entry be cloned to
get the card recognized and another entry to specify the device driver
(if it doesn't exist)?
