Can't you just go through the normal install process, login as that user, and click on the red exclamation point? That should begin the up2date process rather quickly.

Or are you looking to change the install sequence so it updates packages
before the first time you login?

Hi,

The most important reason I want to do this is that it is for my computer at home which is on a slow connection and on which I reinstall quite often. Of course I could do the updates from a dir on a cd but since I have Fedora on a DVD+RW I justed wanted to see if this was easier. So yes, what I am looking for is a way to make anaconda install these packages during install.(I believe you have to update some lists for that so that it finds the right packages).

Steffan.
