I did leave some a bit confused with my original post. A version of Eclipse compiled with gcj is what I was looking for. Ideally in a yum repository built for Fedora. Having downloaded a number of versions of Eclipse I can honestly say I like what I see but am frustrated often by its speed or sluggishness. My understanding is that I would be able to find RPM's somewhere on RedHats site, I just haven't spent the time to look. > > Message: 6 > From: listas@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To: fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx, John Healy <jhealy@xxxxxxxxxx> > Subject: Re: Eclipse > Date: Mon, 12 Jan 2004 17:09:50 -0200 > Reply-To: fedora-list@xxxxxxxxxx > > Hi, > > > > > I'm wondering if anybody has a line on an rpm with a compiled version of > > > > eclipse that is built for FC1? > > > > > > This is scheduled for FC2. > > > > Is this going to be release 3.0 or 2.1?, I only ask because I have been using > > the 3.0 for some time and it beats the socks of 2.1 > > The better 3.0 may be, I guess it's release schedule is for later FC2.
