Is anyone having this same issue when compiling Apache 1.3.x or 2.0? The build always ends with these or similar errors depending on which version of Apache. I have Fedora core 1 fully updated. /lib/libapr-0.la -lrt -lm -lcrypt -lnsl -ldl .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x195): In function `cgethost': : undefined reference to `__inet_ntoa' .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x1da): In function `cgethost': : undefined reference to `__inet_ntoa' .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x203): In function `cgethost': : undefined reference to `__h_errno' .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x214): In function `cgethost': : undefined reference to `__h_errno' .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x227): In function `cgethost': : undefined reference to `__inet_ntoa' .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x236): In function `cgethost': : undefined reference to `__h_errno' .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x43b): In function `stats': : undefined reference to `__inet_ntoa' .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x4ae): In function `stats': : undefined reference to `__inet_ntoa' .libs/logresolve.o(.text+0x7f1): In function `main': : undefined reference to `__inet_addr' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[2]: *** [logresolve] Error 1 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/working/sources/httpd-2.0.48/support' make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/working/sources/httpd-2.0.48/support' make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1 NetworkingHQ Linux Systems Administrator webmaster@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program.
