I'm having this same problem with my Compaq Presario 2110US using the
ali5451 sound card.

#modprobe snd-ali5451
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2140.nptl/kernel/sound/snd.o: unresolved symbol schedule_work
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2140.nptl/kernel/sound/snd.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2140.nptl/kernel/sound/snd.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.22-1.2140.nptl/kernel/sound/snd.o: insmod snd-ali5451 failed

I've tried installing the 2140 rpm as well as rebuilding the src.rpm both with the same result.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jason Riker
