I have a custom built intel 2.8 that I am trying to
get running with fedora. The install goes smooth, but if I try to boot up
with smp, the systems gets to about the loading of sendmail and
fedora stops loading. If I run without smp, the system comes up
perfectly fine. I am in the process of downloading the latest kernel to
see if that helps.
When fedora is stopped in smp, I can ssh into the
machine, but I do not see anything in the message log to tell me what is the
issue.
Anyone having issues with their HP P4's and if so,
any good resolutions to get hyperthreading working?
