I guess it depends on the specific hardware devices installed in your computer; and what Linux distro you are using now.

I have had great results with Fedora on my systems at home. Currently running it on a 1Ghz Athlon system with 384MB RAM. So far it has been working great. As a matter of fact, this is the first distro that has allowed me to use my DVD player to watch movies. Also use K3B to burn DVDs, another first.

Of course, as with anything related to computers, "your mileage may vary".

Give it a try.

I joined this mailing list because I wanted to read about others experiences
with fedora before I migrated to it. I am second thoughts because all of the
mail I am receiving: it like many users are having problems with Fedora.
Would anyone recommend installing Fedora, or should I wait until the next
version?
