Well, I did know the bugtraq message before you reposted. I do not see
what you want to imply? The bug is know, by Redhat as well as Fedora
people and both already reacted and put out fixing errata kernels.

As I said, a bug fixing Fedora Core 1 kernel kernel-2.4.22-1.2138 is out
there which covers the bug. Do you just want to see 2.4.24 instead of
2.4.22 with various patches? If that you should investigate how Fedora
kernels (like Redhat kernels before) are treated by the kernel
maintainers.
