Naw let's not let Fedora get the best of us.  Two questions;
1. are you doing this as root?
2. is your rm command aliased to something else? (try "alias rm" to check).




Yes I am root..
Output from alias rm..
[root@dev02 i386]# alias rm
alias rm='rm -i'


I have rebooted the system so I doubt its an open file or a hung process..
