Regarding floppy drive (USB) in Fedora 1.
I get a similar problem with booting Fedora with the USB floppy attached. The startup generates a host of error messages (dmesg truncates due to volume). I have Fedora installed on a Toshiba Satellite 5105-S607 with a P4M (1700 Mhz) and no legacy support.
Somehow the module for the USB floppy does not get installed into the kernel.
No similar problem with Red Hat 9.
insmod - failed for ... floppy.o
There are then 130+ error messages following.
Anyone figure out how to stop this problem with a USB floppy?
